Samantha just started Awana and loves it. The Bible verse she needs to memorize is John 3:16.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
To help her remember she drew what the verse means. Without help she drew Jesus on the cross and a woman brining flowers to him at the foot of the cross.
When we were talking about it she said, "Mom, did you know that story is for real?!?"
